You now have the ability to insert images, text, videos, anything into your Custom HTML Email templates without interfering with the content you're sending to your audience!

We will first need to navigate to your username at the top right-hand side of your screen and click on it. Once we click your username we will be able to see a section labeled "Email Templates". Click there.

This will bring you to the Custom HTML Email Template editor. In this section of UpContent, you will be able to change your email templates and create new templates for your email campaign needs. Click here to learn more!

Adding a "Split" to your Content on your Email Template

Select the email template you would like to add your "Split" or a new section to and click edit. Once the template appears it is in editing mode, click "Rows" on the right-hand side of the email template editor. Below "Rows" there will be a drop-down menu that is defaulted to "Empty", click here and select "UpContent Selections". Here is where you will find the necessary rows to add to your template for content curation!

You can now drag and drop one of the three UpContent Selection Rows on to your Custom HTML Email Template. The UpContent Selection will be where your curated content automatically populates once assigned to a Collection. You can also duplicate a current row by clicking on the copy icon on the top right of the row itself.

Getting Ready to send out your Email Campaign

To populate your curated content, we will want to navigate to the Collection that has your curated content held within for your newsletter. Navigate to the Collection’s editor and click Power-Ups on the left-hand side of the pop-up. Scroll down to where “HTML Emails” are and click “Add Campaign”. Here you will be able to choose the filtering of content that will be displayed within your email campaigns. Once that is decided, you will click Save. Learn more here.

To manipulate which content you will be “splitting” and displaying separated on your email template, you will click the edit button next to your new Custom HTML Email Campaign and scroll to the bottom. There you will see a diagram of how your content will be "split" within your email campaign’s template. This will allow you to dictate which articles will appear in the section you would like them to appear on your Email Campaign.
