When looking at your analytics dashboard, numerous numbers may seem confusing at first. However, with this guide, you will be able to understand what each of these numbers means!

Total Account Clicks

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Depending on the Timespan selected, this will display the total number of clicks your articles have received during that Timespan.

Articles

Articles has two separate numbers, clicks/article and articles.

Clicks/article is the average number of clicks an article you have chosen receives. In the image below, you will see 8.8 clicks/article. This number will always have a decimal since it is an average number of clicks/article.

Articles are the total number of articles you have curated that receive a click within the Timespan.

Clicks per Collection

Exactly what it states, however, is displayed in a pie chart. If you hover over one of the Collection pieces of the pie chart, you will see the number of clicks that Collection has received over the Timespan selected.

Click History

This shows the number of clicks you have received over the selected Timespan. One thing to notice here is that the dates at the bottom of the graph can be shown by Month, Week, or Day. Also, similar to Click per Collection, when you hover over the Collection's name, you will see the number of clicks that Collection has received.

Clicks per Referrer

This shows the number of clicks your "Referrer" received in the Timespan selected.

Referrers represent the webpage the user was on before clicking a link to navigate to the current webpage.

Top Articles

Exactly what it sounds like. This displays the articles that were clicked within the Timespan selected and how many clicks each article has received.

Top Domains

Exactly what it sounds like. This displays the domain of the articles that were clicked within the Timespan selected and how many clicks each domain has received.

URL Parameters

This is a count of how many different URL parameters have received clicks during the Timespan selected.

A URL parameter refers to the URL that has received the click. For instance, as you see in the image above there is a spid for scott+rogerson which means that Scott Rogerson has received a click on a shared article on his LInkedIn page.

By User Agent

This displays the number of clicks that were received by a specific User Agent

A User Agent represents a digital "name tag". This identifies the software, the operating system, and browser configuration.
