You've created and saved your Filter View, where else can you use it? Within UpContent you can apply your Filter View in a number of places:

Note: You will be able to see where a Filter View is used when it is applied. You will also be able to see exclusions as to where the Filter View cannot be used once it is applied.

Individual Topics and Collections:

Simply navigate to the Topic or Collection you would like to apply the Filter View to, click the drop-down on the upper left-hand side of the article area and select the Filter View from the list.

If you need to update your Filter View, you can do this by simply changing one of the filter's parameters within your Topic or Collection and clicking "Save Changes" under the Filter Views' drop-down. (note: this will update everywhere the Filter View is applied)

Accidentally made a change to your Filter View? Before you click "Save Changes" simply click "Clear Changes" and the filters will revert to your previously saved Filter View settings.

An exclusion may occur here when the "Sort by:" feature does not align. Please review the article here to determine why this may have produced an exclusion.

Topics and Collections as Sources within a Collection:

Select your Collection you need to apply the Filter View to, and edit that Collection (to edit a Collection, this can be done by clicking the Collections name at the top of the screen, and a drop-down menu will appear. Once the menu appears click "Edit Collection Name").

Once you are in the Collection Editor, select "Sources" on the left-hand side of the pop-up menu. Now that you are in your sources menu, you can select a Topic or Collection to source directly into the Collection chosen. Whenever you select said Topic or Collection, you can apply a Filter View to the selection. Once you are satisfied with your selections, click "Add Source" then save your Collection.

An exclusion may occur when a Limit is not set and it is required or does not have a matching sort option in this area.

Power-Ups within Collections:

Select your Collection you need to apply the Filter View to, and edit that Collection (to edit a Collection, this can be done by clicking the Collections name at the top of the screen, and a drop-down menu will appear. Once the menu appears click "Edit Collection Name".)

Once you are in the Collection Editor, select "Power-Ups" on the left-hand side of the pop-up menu and select the Power-Up you would like to activate for your Collection. Whenever you are activating your Power-Up, you can select a Filter View.

An exclusion may occur when a Limit is not set and it is required or does not have a matching sort option in this area.

Galleries within UpContent:

Whenever you're creating a Gallery within UpContent to provide content for your webpage, you will first need to select a Collection, as well as filters for that Collection. Whenever you are selecting the filters for your Gallery to determine what content is displayed for your audience, you can apply a Filter View to this as well! This will allow you to easily apply your Filter View to your Collection's content for the visitors of your website to enjoy!

An exclusion may occur when a Limit is not set and it is required or does not have a matching sort option in this area.

From all of the options above, you can also create a Filter View within each of UpContent's specific filter applied areas. Want to learn more about creating Filter Views? Click here.
